Our third annual FATE Alumni Summit was absolutely fantastic and we are so excited to share some of the highlights with you! It was our very first multi-day summit starting with a sleepover at The Henry Hotel that was filled with laughter, camaraderie, catching up and invaluable resources. We had a blast with thrilling games like Mafia, Just Dance and more, igniting our competitive spirits! Alumni also received support with bolstering their resumes and FAFSA completion.
Additionally, thanks to the amazing support and sponsorship from Mature and Career Dress, our alumni got the incredible chance to snag some professional attire - ensuring they’re all set to tackle their career dreams with both confidence and flair!
On Saturday, our Alumni spent the day at the Pistons Performance Center interviewing, networking, and participating in professional development activities. They had the opportunity to explore job opportunities and career pathways throughout the day and they did so with enthusiasm. We are so proud!
We also want to highlight the folks that make this event so meaningful for our alumni, our business partners. Business partners spent the day encouraging and engaging our alumni to help them grow their professional skills. We are so grateful for our partners, some of whom have joined us the past three years, and can’t wait to see how these connections continue to grow and lead to meaningful job opportunities for our alumni!
