We are so grateful to Shinola for being one of our last workshops for our first FATE cohort. It was a truly special day. The students had no idea what was in store for them.
This design workshop was captained by Art Director, Mike Haener, and Director of Community Relations, Peter Shin. Two guys, who along with their team, pulled off a day where a Merit/FATE/Shinola Notebook was designed for sale, real designs for new Shinola products including shoes and furniture were created, AND EACH FATE STUDENT RECEIVED A SHINOLA WATCH AS A GRADUATION PRESENT!!
Whew. It was spectacular. Oh, the mentors were surprised with watches too. We are so excited about our partnership with Shinola, so happy our first group of students got to experience a workshop with them, and cannot wait to continue working together in the future.
